The memorial year 2018 provides an impetus to re-examine ruptures and turning points in 20th-century Austrian history and to question their significance for our present. History is renegotiated by each generation and can always be rediscovered. For the remembrance of the transformations of the 20th century, the Austrian Media Library provides a wealth of recordings that are now being made newly accessible through several online exhibitions. The online platform will be opened on February 2, 2018, by former Federal President Heinz Fischer in the festival hall of the TMW - Technical Museum of Vienna.
