From the press text: The "User Manual for Vienna" is already a classic that the renowned author and filmmaker Monika Czernin has been rewriting for 20 years - this time newly with the magnificently renovated Josephinum. And with each iteration, she sees her favorite city more positively, if not more glorified. Not entirely unjustified! She wonders what makes Vienna seem more livable than Munich, just as hip as Berlin, almost as rich as Hamburg, culturally at least as significant as Paris, and more life-friendly than London, regularly achieving top placements on all city indices. In contrast, the singer-poet and filmmaker Max Gruber has been focusing on the dark sides of the metropolis and its inhabitants for years with great success through his music formation "Des Ano". He illuminates the Viennese soul down to its depths and exposes even the best-camouflaged everyday lies in songs like "The Little Man". Who is right now? And what is the secret of Vienna in the end? In a controversial double conference, the writer and the musician will confront this question. An unusual literature and music evening for all who love Vienna or despair of the city.
